Structure of Government

The Town of Hemingway operates under the Council Form of Government.  The mayor and six members of council, who are elected officials, determine all municipal policies, adopt ordinances, establish departments and carry on the affairs of the Town as determined and set forth in the Charter.  The Town Administrator has the authority for interpreting the various provisions of this policy and is responsible for the operation of all departments and the performance thereof of all employees.
