Drinking Water Notification

Construction of the New ECA Well, THM Removal System & Flushing Devices in Hemingway, SC is being financed by the Drinking Water (DW) State Revolving Fund (SRF). The DW SRF program is administered by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control and SC Rural Infrastructure Authority with joint funding from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the State of South Carolina. This project will consist of the construction of a new groundwater supply well, trihalomethane removal system and automatic water line flushers in order to provide treated potable water for the community residents and businesses in the Town of Hemingway and its surrounding areas. The DW SRF programs operate around the county to provide states and communities the resources necessary to maintain and improve the infrastructure that protects our valuable water resources.
